Womens Institute offers a varied calendar of talks and meetings both locally and around Hertfordshire. Activities include:

The organisation is open to women of all ages. Meets occur every second Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm at Aldenham War Memorial Hall, Letchmore Heath.

Mobile Library

Summary West Herts Rural Mobile. Route 11 (Friday Fortnightly) This Mobile Library stops in Aspsley, Aldenham and Leavesden. The Aldenham stop occurs at Wingfield Caravan Park between 2:45pm and 3:15pm.

Aside from standard books, the Mobile also provides large print/talking books and cassettes for the blind. Videos for the deaf are also available. A lift is available for wheelchair users.

Radlett Record Society

The Radlett Record Society meets for recitals and lecture talks at Cherries, Hertspring Lane, Aldenham (with occasional meetings in Radlett). They occur at 8:00pm every 3rd Tuesday, with 14 meetings in total per annum. The Society is affiliated to the Federation of Recorded Music Societies.
