Minutes of the meeting of the Newsletter Committee held at 9am on Tuesday 15 July 2008 in Meeting Room Two, The Radlett Centre, Aldenham Avenue, Radlett.

Councillor Mrs G Balen was unanimously elected as Chairman.

Apologies were received from Councillor V Charrett.

There were no members of the public present.
- Feedback from edition 78
Members felt that the edition was so much better in full colour. It was thought that the dark background on the pages of ‘Your Council Working for you’ was difficult for some readers to read and thought would be given to readability when deciding colours in the future.

As before with one new advertisers – Dr Irwin from the new Radlett Chiropractice Surgery.
The rates for all advertisers appearing in future editions would be increased to £35 for an inside advertisement and £40.00 for a back page advertisement.
Terms of reference for the Newsletter Committee would be discussed in full at the next meeting.
- Distribution from March 2009
One quotation for the distribution from March 2009 had been received from Roadrunners who quoted £400.00 per edition plus VAT. Other quotations would be sought. Members noted that the current delivery charge to Rochester of £78.00 per edition would no longer be applicable after March 2009.
- Possibility of Producing a Calendar for 2010
Members were keen to produce a calendar for 2010. The matter would be discussed in further detail at the next meeting.
- Put Together
The Put Together would be held at 9am on Wednesday 23 July 2008.
