To elect a Chairman.
To elect a Vice Chairman.
To review the Terms of Reference of the Committee.
Declarations of Interest:

To adjourn the meeting for members of the public to address the Committee (if any) (in accordance with Standing Order 13.9).
To confirm and sign the Minutes of the meeting held on Wednesday 16th April 2008.
Clerk's Report.
To review the following policies:
1. Absence
2. Bullying and Harassment
3. Health and Safety
To consider the latest Financial Statements and Budget Report:
1. Statements from April 2008
2. Request from Newsletter Committee to overspend in 2008/9 by £1900
3. Review of Solicitors Costs so far
4. To decide action regarding the under-payment of rent on the YCC building by Rexton House Nursery

The Chairman will then move the following resolution;
That under the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 s 1(2), the press and public are excluded from the meeting whilst matters pertaining to employees of the council are discussed.

To consider whether to adopt the NALC Guidelines on Casual Mileage rates for 2008-9.
To review salaries of staff.
To receive a report on the granting of a lease on King George V playing fields.
