ALDENHAM PARISH COUNCIL

Notice is hereby given that the ANNUAL PARISH MEETING will be held on Tuesday 8 April 2008 at 8pm in the Auditorium, The Radlett Centre, Aldenham Avenue, Radlett.

AGENDA

The business to be transacted at this meeting will be:

1. Apologies for absence.
2. To receive, and if so resolved, to confirm the minutes of the Annual Meeting held on 17 April 2007.
3. Address by the Chairman of the Council.
4. Presentations: Local Volunteer of the Year 2008 Award.
5. Special Guest Speaker – Mr. Bill Price from STRiFE will speak about the proposed rail freight development.
6. Annual Reports – by the Chairmen of the Committees and Sub Committees of the Parish Council:
   • Finance and General Purposes Committee
   • Recreation Grounds Committee
   • Footpaths Sub Committee
   • Boundaries and Planning Committee
   • Radlett Youth & Community Centre Committee
   • Newsletter Committee
   • Transportation Committee
     
7. Open Discussion
8. To receive the accounts and reports of the following charities:
   • Platt Subsidiary Foundation
   • Radlett Centre Trust
   • Radlett Village Institute Management Committee
   • Aldenham War Memorial Hall Trust
     
9. To receive the reports for the following organisation:
   • Radlett and Aldenham International Friendship Association (RAIFA)
