The minutes of the last meeting were confirmed and signed as a true and correct record.

The Chairman thanked Jonathon for his presentation and they left the meeting.
- Matters arising from the minutes of the meeting held on 8 March 2007 (for Information only)
- The lamp-posts in Shenley Hill had been painted green instead of burgundy.
- The lamp-post at Park Road facing Burrels was bent.
- New Road was still badly potholed.
- The top end of Newberries Avenue had been repaired.
- The top end of Gills Hill still needed resurfacing.
- Williams Way had been resurfaced.
- The road markings were still waiting to be painted in Williams Way.
- Christchurch Crescent had been swept after the resurfacing.
- The footpath across Oakbank in Watling Street had been repaired.
- The road leading down to Newberries Car Park had been patched up.
- The pavement outside the Village Institute where the Oak tree had been, had been repaired.
In addition to the previous outstanding items the following also required attention;
- The greenery to the south side of the car park behind Newberries shops needed trimming back.
- Some members thought that the car park needed resurfacing.
- The disabled spaces urgently needed marking out in the slip road.
- The stretch of road between Butterfly Lane and Allum Lane was very dark, more lighting or cats eyes were needed.
- The future of Radlett Station
There was nothing new to report.
- Highways
It was reported that Councillor Mrs A Baker had attended a meeting with Councillor H M Saunders and representatives from Highways earlier on in the year.
Councillor D Lambert was not aware of any progress on the proposed improvements to Watford Junction.
It was noted that there was still a lot of congestion at Shenley Hill caused by motorists queing to park in the slip road.
A more prominent sign was needed to advertise the fact that there was free parking for an hour in Newberries Car Park.
Accessibility at Radlett Station was poor. There was a suggestion that a ramp could be put in at the entrance at the back of the station adjacent to the station car park. The matter of disabled access to the station should be investigated further.
A bus service from Radlett to Stanmore would be useful.
- Date of next meeting
The next meeting will be held on Thursday 6 March 2008.
The meeting closed at 9.25pm.
