ALDENHAM PARISH COUNCIL

Minutes of the meeting of the Boundaries and Planning Committee on Monday 4 June 2007 at 7.30pm in Meeting Room 2, The Radlett Centre, 1 Aldenham Avenue, Radlett.

1. Apologies for absence
   
   Apologies were received from Councillors Mrs V Charrett and D Lambert.
   
   
   
2. Introduction to new members
   
   Councillor Mrs E E Wackrow gave a brief outline of the role of the planning committee for the Parish of Aldenham.
   
   Councillor B Hyams had not received the planning guidelines and the planning booklet.  Mrs R J Floate would put a copy of each in his pigeonhole.
   
   It was agreed that an article should be put in the next Around Radlett explaining the workings of the planning committee and that the public should let the Parish Council know of any objections they had.
   
   It was agreed that Mrs R J Floate would email the consultation document on the Travellers site to all members.  It was noted that the deadline for sending in comments was 10 July 2007.
   
   
   
3. Declarations of interest
   
   There were no declarations of interest.
   
   
   
4. To confirm the minutes of the meeting held on Monday 21 May 2007
   
   The minutes were confirmed and signed as a true and correct record.
   
   
   
5. Approve comments on current applications
   
   The grid was approved as a correct record.
   
   
   
6. Review new applications
   
   See planning grid pages 1, 2 and 3 dated 5 June 2007.
   
   
   
7. To receive an update on applications of special interest.
   
   It was noted that the applications at Hawthorn, The Warren, and 2 Hillside Road were appealing against refusal.  The applications at 415 Watling Street, 18-20 Watford Road, 19 Newlands Avenue and Uplands, The Warren had been refused.  The applications at 47 Newlands Avenue, Waterside Lodge, Watterside and 14 The Close had been approved.
   
   Councillor Mrs E E Wackrow notified the meeting that she would not be attending the EERA planning meeting at County Hall in Hertford.
   
   Councillor Mrs E E Wackrow asked Mrs R J Floate to circulate copies of the Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas to members.
   
   
   
8. Date of next meeting
   
   The next meeting would be held on Monday 18 June 2007 at 2.15pm.
