It was agreed that the following words should be added to the previous set of Minutes dated 12 September 2006 ‘To reduce the amount in the 2007/2008 Budget to £5000’.
Following the amendment the Minutes were approved as a true and correct record.
- Matters arising from the Minutes of the meeting held on 15 January 2007
The Deputy Clerk reported that despite three reminders the £50 compensation due from the Royal Mail had still not been received. Members requested that a further reminder be sent, failing an early response the matter would be taken up with a higher authority.
- Feedback from edition 75
1) Pilates Advertisement Jackie Gilbert was disappointed with the clarity of her advertisement and had asked for a 50% discount. All Members felt that the advertisement was eligible adding that advertisements are put in as they are received and no responsibility can be taken for the art work. The application for a discount was refused and the Deputy Clerk was asked to contact Mrs Gilbert.
It was also reported that a number of residents had called into the office for Kitchen caddies, liners and bus passes.
2) Bhaktivedanta Manor Mrs. Edie Oakley had read the article on the Bhaktivedanta Manor and had further information to add. That would be included in the next edition.
- Entry for Newsletter of the Year Competition
