DECLARATION OF INTEREST
Councillor Mrs Griffiths declared a personal interest in the item relating to the Tabard Rugby Club and Radlett Cricket Club’s application for a groundsman’s hut as a social member of the Cricket Club.

- MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 14 FEBRUARY 2007
The minutes of the meeting held on 14 February 2007 were signed as a true and accurate record.
- MATTERS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 14 FEBRUARY 2007
(i) Refund by Royal Mail – The Clerk understood that the £50 compensation had not been received yet. (Action: Deputy Clerk)
(ii) Charitable Registration of King George V Playing Fields – The Clerk had not yet actioned this.
(iii) Renewal of Scouts Lease at Kent Lodge – The Clerk was in discussions with rev Fletcher who was action on behalf of the Scouts.
- PROPERTY PORTFOLIO
(i) 28 Elm Walk – The Clerk advised Members that the tenant had moved in and a new oven purchased at £399 plus £25 installation charge. It was confirmed that grounds staff should carry out the first grass cut of the season but thereafter it would be up to the tenant to either employ contractors or carry out the work themselves.
(ii) Work to the Council’s Offices – The work had been completed and the office repainted for £4,615 plus VAT. Members confirmed that they were satisfied with the work and that the contractor should be paid. (Action: Clerk)
(iii) Planning Application for a groundsman’s hut – Tabard Rugby Club & Radlett Cricket Club – The Council had been served with notification of a planning application on its land at Tabard Rugby Club. As this would be an improvement to the area the Clerk had raised no objection as landlord to the plan being submitted and the planning merits of the scheme would be considered by the Boundaries and Planning Committee in due course. The work would benefit the Cricket Club too and work was in hand to amend the lease with Tabard Rugby Club to reflect the interest that the Cricket Club would have in the structure.
- FINANCIAL STATEMENTS AND BUDGET REPORTS
It was noted that the totals for the Youth and Community Centre Committee page were incorrect.
Subject to the above amendment, the financial statements to February 2007 were noted.
- TO CONSIDER PURCHASE OF DRAINAGE MAPS FOR LETCHMORE HEATH
Taking into account the problems encountered at Letchmore Heath relating to drainage, it was considered appropriate to purchase the maps from Thames Water for £41.59.

The next meeting was scheduled for 8pm on 18 April 2007.
