ALDENHAM PARISH COUNCIL
Minutes of the meeting of the NEWSLETTER COMMITTEE held at 8pm on Tuesday 12 September 2006 in Meeting Room Two, The Radlett Centre, Aldenham Avenue, Radlett.

1. Apologies for absence
Apologies were received from Councillor Mrs Balen and Councillor J Howley.

There were no declarations of interest.

To approve the Minutes of the meeting held on 3 July 2006
The Minutes were approved as a true and correct record.
4.
Matters arising from the Minutes of the meeting held on 6 July 2006
1. Parish Guide
Mr Philip Eastburn, as editor of the 2007 Guide, would be invited to attend a meeting prior to the ‘Put Together’ on Thursday 28 September 2006 at 7.30pm.
2. Complaint to Royal Mail
The Deputy Clerk would make inquiries and report back to the next meeting.

5. Feedback from 73rd edition
There was very little feedback as the delivery had only begun two days earlier. However, several residents had called in to collect a Kitchen Caddie.

7. Advertisements
Members noted that there were seventeen advertisements in edition 73 and requested that no further were taken at present.
6. Format and Colour
The colour had been chosen for the 74th edition. The format would be as before.
7. Budget 2007/2008
Figures were not available at the meeting and would be circulated to Members for consideration at the next meeting.
8. Date of Put Together
The edition would be put together on Thursday 28 September at 7.30pm.
