ALDENHAM PARISH COUNCIL
Minutes of the meeting of the BOUNDARIES AND PLANNING COMMITTEE held on Monday 6 March 2006 at 7.30pm in Meeting Room 2, The Radlett Centre, 1 Aldenham Avenue, Radlett

1. Apologies for absence
Apologies were received from Councillors Mrs G Balen, D Lambert, W Deem and S Burke. The meeting was therefore inquorate.
2. Declarations of Interest
Councillor Mrs E E Wackrow declared a non pecuniary interest in the application to be discussed at Watling Knoll.
3. To confirm the minutes of the meeting held on Monday 20 February 2006
The minutes were confirmed and signed as a true record.
It was noted that the Clerk was going to find out from other Parish Council’s what they do regarding adding the names of the applicants to their planning reports.
4. Approve comments on current applications
It was noted that Councillor Mrs E Wackrow had visited the Blackbirds Farm site. Councillor Mrs G Balen had attended a meeting that had been set up by Hertfordshire County Council and reported back to Councillor Mrs Wackrow. The County officers were mainly concerned about the problem of vermin. Councillor Mrs Wackrow would be writing to the County Council stressing the Parish Council’s main concerns and a copy of that letter would be sent to other members on the planning committee.
The minutes were confirmed and signed as a true record.
5. Review new applications
See planning grid pages 1 and 2 dated 15 March 2006.
The applications at 29 Aldenham Avenue, 7 The Crescent and 47 Aldenham Avenue had been granted. The application at 22 The Ridgeway had gone to appeal.
6. Hertsmere Local Development Framework
Councillor Mrs E E Wackrow asked Mrs Floate to contact the other members of the committee to arrange a meeting to discuss the Parish Council’s response to the Local Development Framework. It was agreed that an afternoon meeting on Monday 3 April at 2.15 pm would be a suitable date.
7. Date of next meeting
The next meeting would be held on Monday 10 April at 7.30pm.
The meeting closed at 9pm.
