ALDENHAM PARISH COUNCIL
Minutes of the meeting of the RADLETT FESTIVAL COMMITTEE held at 7.30pm on Thursday 2 June 2005 in Meeting Room Two, The Radlett Centre, Aldenham Avenue, Radlett.

1. Apologies for absence
Apologies were received from Councillor Ron Worthy, Graham Taylor, Vicky Churchill and Ray Hayes.
2. Declarations of Interest
There were no declarations of interest.
3. Concert Update
- The stage and marquee would arrive on Thursday pm
- The sound equipment would arrive on Friday pm
- It was hoped that low staging could be borrowed from Newberries School
- The Red Cross would cover First Aid requirements on Saturday
- The fire extinguishers would arrive on Monday (7 th ) am
- An electrical feed would be taken from Tabard RFC – meter to be read before and after
- Chiltern Radio sending two Thunders cars
- Rota for gate duty was circulated
- Car parking would be charged at £1 per car on Salters Field
- Toilets x 6 @ £55 each plus £40 delivery had been booked
- The bands would arrive at 1.45 pm
- Organisers huddle would take place at 11.45 am
- Drinks to be collected Thursday and Friday and stored in Meeting Room 1 at the Radlett Centre
- Ice would be ordered from Tesco's
- Sylvia would buy bins to take drinks and ice
4. Fair Update
- 52 Stalls had been booked so far
- Two footballs activities had been booked
- Radlett Cricket Club were organising a game
- Marshall need for ox cart
- Prizes for Dog Show to be collected
- Lady Morris Dancers had been booked
- Helen Lappert would do face painting, one other painter was required
- Raffle Drum to be collected
- HQ tent to contain raffle prizes, fancy dress prizes, dog show prizes and dog show application forms
- Two marshals are required for the ox cart
5. Car Parking
Tony Johnson from Radlett Cricket Club joined the meeting and discussed car parking arrangements. A mutual satisfactory agreement was reached.
