ALDENHAM PARISH COUNCIL

Minutes of the meeting of the BOUNDARIES AND PLANNING COMMITTEE held on Monday 16 August 2004 in Meeting Room 2, The Radlett Centre, 1 Aldenham Avenue, Radlett.

1. Apologies for absence

There were no apologies for absence.

2. Declaration of Interest

Councillor D Lambert declared a non pecuniary interest in the application to be discussed for Aaragon Coach House in Aldenham Road , Letchmore Heath.

Councillor Mrs V Charrett declared a prejudicial interest in the application to be discussed at 9 Theobald Street and withdrew from the discussions while the matter was being considered.

3. To confirm the minutes of the meeting held on Monday 19 July 2004

The minutes were approved as a correct record.

4. Approve comments on current applications

The grid was approved as a correct record.

5. Review new applications

See planning grid pages 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 dated 18 August 2004 .

6. 60 Craigweil Avenue

Councillor Mrs Wackrow reported on Mr Robert Young's visit to the Parish Council offices the previous week. It was noted that the latest application for a roof terrace would probably be refused. All members had received a copy of the letter from Mike Mash, the enforcement officer and a copy of the letter from Mr Horowitz the neighbour of 60 Craigweil Avenue .

It was agreed that Councillor Mrs Wackrow should write to Richard Grove with a copy to Councillor Neil Payne reiterating our concerns over this application.

7. Planning Enforcement Policy

It was noted that all members had received a copy of the Planning Enforcement Policy.

Mr Robert Young had offered to attend the next meeting to discuss this.

8. Date of next meeting

The next meeting would be held on Monday 6 September 2004 .
