Minutes of the meeting of the Boundaries and Planning Committee held on Monday 29 March 2004 in Meeting Room 2, The Radlett Centre, 1 Aldenham Avenue, Radlett

1. Apologies for absence

Apologies were received from Councillors W Deem, A Reith, D Lambert and S Burke. Due to there being only two members present, the meeting was declared inquorate.

2. Declarations of interest

There were no declarations of interest.

3. To confirm the minutes of the meeting held on 15 March 2004

The minutes were unable to be confirmed, as the meeting was inquorate.

4. Approve comments on current applications

The grid could not be approved. It was noted that the comments had been sent off to Hertsmere.

5. Review new applications

See planning grids pages 1, 2, and 3 dated 30 March.

6. Any other business

Councillor Mrs Wackrow reported that she had telephoned Ms Hilary Shade at Hertsmere regarding the disabled toilets. Ms Shade was on leave at the moment. A colleague of Ms Shade undertook to enquire about the situation.

Councillor Mrs Wackrow asked Mrs Floate to inform the Clerk that the planning report was satisfactory.

It was noted that Roundbush Garage had been refused. Conservation Area consent had also been refused.

It was noted that the new Radlett Standards had been circulated.

It was noted that three applications had gone to appeal. They were at 90-101 Gills Hill, 12 Aldenham Grove and 33 Williams Way . The planning application at 18-20 Watford Road had been withdrawn.
