Minutes of the meeting of the BOUNDARIES AND PLANNING COMMITTEE held at 7.30 pm on Monday 15 March 2004 in Meeting Room 1, The Radlett Centre, 1 Aldenham Avenue, Radlett.

   Apologies were received from Councillors Mrs V Charrett and D Lambert.
   
   
2. Declarations of interest
   
   There were no declarations of interest.
   
   
3. To confirm the minutes of the meeting held on Monday 1 March 2004
   
   The minutes were confirmed as a correct record.
   
   
4. Approve comments on current applications
   
   The grid was approved as a correct record.
   
   
5. Review new applications
   
   See planning grid pages 1 and 2 dated 16 March 2004.
   
   
6. Any other business
   
   Housing Strategy 2004-07
   Councillor Mrs E E Wackrow reported that she had attended the consultation meeting to discuss the housing strategy 2004-07. The only relevance in the document to Radlett would be the possible development at Kitswell Way. Councillor Wackrow would ask the Clerk to fill out the ticked questionnaire and send to Hertsmere Borough Council.
   
   Disabled Toilets at Radlett Gardens
   Councillor Mrs S A Reith reported that Councillor John Graham had asked her to draw the meeting’s attention to the plan for the new disabled toilets adjacent to Radlett Gardens. Funding was not yet available but the idea was to possibly rent some of the land out to an enterprise, which would serve coffees and snacks whilst allowing access to the disabled toilet. Members agreed that it could enhance the area but there was concern about lack of parking. It was agreed that Councillor Mrs Wackrow would telephone Hilary Shade at Hertsmere to give the committee’s views.

The next meeting would be held on Monday 29 March 2003 in Meeting Room 2, The Radlett Centre.
