of the BOUNDARIES AND PLANNING COMMITTEE
held at 7.30 pm on Monday 20 October 2003 in Meeting Room Two, The Radlett
Centre, 1 Aldenham Avenue, Radlett

1. Apologies for absence
Apologies were received from Councillor D Lambert. There were
no apologies for absence.
2. Declaration of interest
There were no declarations of interest.
3. To confirm the minutes of the meeting held on Monday 6 October
2003
The minutes were confirmed as a correct record.
4. Approve comments on current applications
The grid was approved as a correct record.
5. Review new applications
See planning grid dated 22 October 2003 pages 1 and 2.
6. Any other business
- 34 Loom Lane
Councillor Mrs Reith reported that she had written to Mr R Grove,
Head of Planning, regarding planning permission for discrepancies.
To date Councillor Mrs Reith had not received a reply. It was agreed
to send a fax to Councillor Martin Saunders asking him to enquire
about progress of this matter.
- Response re sex establishments
Councillor Mrs Wackrow reported that she had read in the most
recent Information Digest from Hertsmere that the suggestions made
in the draft had been adopted as the policy.
- Recommendations re Wall Hall Application
Councillor
Mrs Wackrow reported that the recommendations regarding Wall
Hall had been posted to Hertsmere Borough Council and distributed
to all members.
- Draft on
domestic planning guidance
It was noted that the draft for domestic
planning guidance had been adopted.
Councillor Deem said that he felt the block plans were still sometimes
out of date, especially in the case of 2a Williams Way.
- Results of recent planning applications
Councillor Mrs Wackrow reported that the application for 52 Oakridge
Avenue had been approved. The applications at 54 Watford Road and
Home Farm had been deferred.
The next meeting would be held on 3
November 2003.
The
meeting closed at 9pm.
