ALDENHAM PARISH COUNCIL

Minutes of the meeting of the BOUNDARIES AND PLANNING COMMITTEE held at 7.30 pm on Monday 22 September 2003 in Meeting Room Two, The Radlett Centre, 1Aldenham Avenue, Radlett.

Present:

Councillor Mrs A Reith

In attendance:
Mrs R J Floate (Administrative Officer)

1. Apologies for absence

Apologies were received from Councillor W Deem.

2. Declarations

There were no declarations of interest.

3. To confirm the minutes of the meeting held on Monday 8 September 2003

The minutes were confirmed as a true record.

4. Approve comments on current applications

The grid was approved as a correct record.

5. Review new applications

See planning grid dated 26 September pages 1 and 2.

6. Any other business

Councillor Mrs Wackrow reported that the planning brief for the Former Quadrant and Houseboat Works site had been adopted. If anyone wanted to inspect the brief a copy was in Mrs Floate’s office.

It was noted that there was no news yet on the application at Bhaktivedanta Manor.

Hertsmere had refused the application at 245 Watling Street by its size, scale and design in relation to the next building.

It was noted that a date of appeal for 2 and 3 Primrose Cottages had been received.

After much discussion it was agreed by the committee that Councillor Mrs Wackrow would draft a letter to Dominic Stagg regarding the Control of Sex Establishment. Mrs Wackrow would distribute this letter to members for their approval.

Members asked Mrs Floate to enquire if the building work at 44 Shenley Hill had approval.

It was agreed that the appeal from Orange regarding Telecommunications masts off Theobald Street would be discussed at the next Parish Council meeting.

The meeting closed at 9.25 pm.
