ALDENHAM PARISH COUNCIL

Minutes of the meeting of the BOUNDARIES AND PLANNING COMMITTEE held on Monday 8 September at 7.30 pm in Meeting Room 2, The Radlett Centre, 1 Aldenham Avenue, Radlett

Present:
Councillor Mrs E Wackrow (Chairman)

1. Apologies for absence

Apologies were received from Councillor W Deem.

2. Declarations

There were no declarations of interest.

3. To confirm the minutes of the meeting held on Tuesday 12 August 2003

The minutes were confirmed as a true record.

4. Approve comments on current applications

The grid was approved as a correct record.

5. Review new applications

See planning grid pages, 1, 2, 3 and 4 dated 10 September 2003.

6. Any other business

Councillor Wackrow reported that the application at 17 Willow Way had been refused as the rear conservatory had breached the 45 degree rule.

The applicant of 1 The Avenue was appealing against the refusal of their application.

Orange was appealing against the refusal of Hertsmere Borough Council for a telephone mast.

The applicants of 25 Watford Road had appeal against Hertsmere’s refusal.

Councillor Mrs Wackrow also reported that she had received a letter from Hertsmere asking for views on the policy of licensing sex establishments.

Councillor Mrs Wackrow asked Mrs Floate to photocopy and distribute the letter to all members of the planning committee for their comments in due course.

Councillor Burke mentioned that he had been asked to complete a survey recently and asked Mrs Floate to enquire if there were any results available of that survey.

The meeting closed at 8.45 pm.

The next meeting would take place at 7.30 pm in Meeting Room 2 on 22nd September.
